Lantz Boggio / Architects was commissioned by the Air Force Academy to perform assessments along with renovation and remodel programming and Design for the upgrade of this Iconic Government Asset. A key parameter of the program was to stage all remodeling working activities to occur without compromising or imposing on the weekly occupation and religious services that occur within the building.

A particularly profound component of the program was the investigation and analysis of the existing Tetrahedral structure of the building envelope.
The LB/A Team then provided remedial Design Solutions to cease water infiltration while allowing expansion and contraction movement.
